About the Department
B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) is a
specialized program designed to equip students with the
knowledge and skills required to protect digital systems,
networks, and data from cyber threats.
With the rapid growth of digital transformation, cyber
security has become a critical domain across industries such
as banking, healthcare, IT, defence, and e-commerce. This
program focuses on building expertise in areas like ethical
hacking, network security, cryptography, and cyber
forensics.
At Cheran College of Technology, the course is structured to
provide both theoretical foundations and practical exposure,
enabling students to tackle real-world cyber security
challenges and ensure secure computing environments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent
- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
- Minimum aggregate marks as per Anna University / Government norms
